Mallie’s Bouncie’s proudly provides bounce house rentals and inflatable party rentals throughout Roanoke, Salem, Vinton, Lynchburg, Christiansburg, Blacksburg, Bedford, Daleville, Rocky Mount, and surrounding Virginia communities. Below are answers to our most common questions.
Do bounce houses need to stay plugged in the entire rental?
Yes. All of our inflatables require continuous airflow from the blower to remain inflated, so they must stay plugged in for the full duration of your rental. Once unplugged, the unit will slowly deflate.
We ask that you have a standard electrical outlet within 50 feet of the setup location. For all of our Roanoke and Southwest Virginia bounce house rentals, we provide heavy-duty extension cords to ensure safe and reliable operation.
What surfaces can you set up bounce houses on?
We can safely set up on grass, dirt, asphalt, and concrete. Grass is our preferred surface and provides the best experience for children. We do not set up on sharp rock surfaces, except for smooth pea gravel.
For setups on pavement, gravel, concrete, or indoors where staking is not possible, sandbags are required to properly anchor the inflatable. These setups include a small surface fee based on the size of the inflatable.
Are your bounce houses clean and sanitized?
Absolutely. Every inflatable is thoroughly cleaned, disinfected, and sanitized after each rental using professional vinyl cleaners. Before every delivery in Roanoke, Salem, Lynchburg, and nearby areas, each unit is carefully inspected to ensure it is clean, safe, and ready for your event.
Are there any additional fees besides the rental price?
The price listed on our website reflects the base rental cost. Additional charges may include sales tax, delivery fees, and an optional damage waiver. Once you enter your delivery address, your full total will be calculated automatically so you know exactly what to expect.
When will my inflatable be delivered and picked up?
Your reservation start time is not your delivery time. We always arrive early to set up before your event begins and return after your rental ends to pick up.
Once our delivery routes are finalized, customers in Roanoke, Salem, Bedford, Lynchburg, and surrounding Virginia cities will receive a text and email approximately two days before the event with an estimated delivery and pickup window.
What if the inflatable is damaged during our rental?
You are responsible for the inflatable during your rental period. Damage caused by negligence or failure to follow safety guidelines may result in repair or replacement charges.
We strongly recommend keeping the damage waiver on your order, which covers most accidental or incidental damage. The waiver does not cover theft or intentional damage.
Can I review your rental agreement and safety guidelines?
Yes. A copy of our rental agreement and safety rules is included with your receipt after booking. You may also contact our team anytime if you would like to review them before reserving your inflatable.
Do you deliver bounce houses to parks in Virginia?
Yes, we provide park setups throughout the Roanoke Valley and surrounding areas. Most parks do not offer electrical outlets, so a generator rental is required for park events.
Please let us know at the time of booking if your event is at a park. You are also responsible for securing permission from the park. Park deliveries require special scheduling and may include an additional fee.
What is your cancellation policy?
If you cancel within 10 days of your event, your deposit will be forfeited. Any amount paid beyond the deposit will be refunded.
If you cancel more than 10 days before your event, your full deposit will be refunded. If weather forces a cancellation, we will issue a rain check that may be used toward any future rental within one year.
What is your bad weather policy?
Because we serve a large area across Southwest and Central Virginia, we recommend monitoring your local forecast starting 72 hours before your event. If heavy rain or strong winds are expected, please contact us at least 48 hours before your scheduled rental time.
Payments are non-refundable, but we are happy to transfer your rental to a future date within one year, based on availability.
